NVIDIA and ATI will be launching their new iteration of GPUs in June, at around the COMPUTEX time-frame, if rumours are to be believed.

ATI's upcoming RV770 will push the incumbent 3800-series pricing down further, we reckon, which is already competitive against NVIDIA's, as you can currently purchase a retail Radeon HD 3870 512 for £93, including VAT.

Partners appreciate that differentiating solely on lowest price is a recipe for disaster, and that's why many of the larger AICs retail multiple models based on a particular SKU.

Sapphire, for example, has four Radeon HD 3850s and no less than eight Radeon HD 3870s in its range.
