The latest card in the All-In-Wonder family is the AIW 9800Pro. As you can probably guess the VPU being used on this card is the very popular Radeon 9800Pro VPU. That means that this video card has all the speed and features that the Radeon 9800Pro has to offer. To learn what the Radeon 9800Pro has to offer you may read our review of a built by ATI 9800Pro. In summary the 9800Pro has improved on a few things over the 9700Pro which include surpassing DX9 with added functionality, an F-Buffer allowing limitless shader instructions that also gives it full OpenGL 2.0 fragment shader support. SMOOTHVISION has also been improved slightly with an optimized memory controller and HyperZ III+ has been beefed up for better stencil buffer performance. There were also core improvements made that enabled the VPU to be run at higher frequencies. The AIW 9800Pro is based on the same 9800Pro we have all come to know and love.
