MSI brings us their latest solution, based on Intel's P35 chipset which has already made a name for itself amongst the enthusiast community. There are already some great boards on the market based on this chipset and MSI has their work cut out for them if they want to be competitive.
The MSI P35 Platinum supports the latest Intel Core2 Extreme Quad-Core / Core2 Duo / Intel Pentium Extreme and Intel Pentium D processors. Following industry trends, the P35 Platinum requires only a few components to create a fully functioning system. The required components are: LGA775 CPU, DDR 2 memory, power supply, drives, and a video card.
